My Review: Epigamia Greek Yogurts:

Having a bowl of Curd everyday is nothing new specially in our Indian homes. It is something which our mothers had taught us to do since childhood. But sometime back Yogurts have become really popular in the market. The first time I heard about it, my first question was - What is the difference between Curd and Yogurt?
So, Both Curd and Yogurt are very similar kind of Dairy Products. The method of preparation is also quite similar, however the major difference being is the strain of Bacteria present in them.
Curd has only one strain of Bacteria named as Lactobacillus whereas Yogurt is made with two strain of Bacteria named as Lactobacillus Bulgaris and Streptococcus Thermophilus. Also, Yogurt will always taste little sour as compared to the basic Curd.Lets just say Yogurt is little more healthier version of plain curd. It has many Vitamins, Calcium, Protein and other minerals. Yogurt is an excellent thing to include in your daily diet. It helps to boost up the immune system of the body. Yogurt is good for digestion and also might help in weight loss.

With all those amazing benefits being said, my next question was If it is that healthy, is it tasty?? Again, one another thing we are used to, is Healthy Food means Boring & Tasteless.. :)

The answer to this question is Yes!! Flavored Yogurts taste delicious....

Recently I got to try few variants of Floured Yogurts of a brand called as Epigamia. They are so amazing!!




Basically, Epigamia make Greek Yogurts. These are prepared through ancient Greek process of straining which makes them more creamier and thicker!! They have lot of flavors to choose from.. You can get these at grocery stores.

In India, we still do not have many Brands providing the Greek Yogurt. Definitely you should give this one a try.

I tried some of the variants like Natural, Green Apple, Mango, Blueberry, Strawberry, Vanilla Bean, Wild Raspberry, Honey Banana. Some of them came with crispy snacks. Most of them were pretty delicious. The consistency is quite thick. The manufacturing and the expiry date are mentioned on the lid, which helps to know till when to consume these

Overall I think the quality and taste is really good. My personal favorite will be Mango and Strawberry! One should always incorporate healthy food like Yogurt in the daily regime to stay fit. Just start with your favorite Flavor.
