My Review:
The story basically revolves around our very own Indian arrange marriages!!

The story is about a simple next door girl Avni, who still thinks that it is too early for her to get married but her parents are pushing her to get married and settle down nicely as soon as possible.

They select a guy Ansh and arrange a meeting for Avni and Ansh to get to know each other and decide if they like each other or not. Avni really liked Ansh and found him a very decent man but still she has her own inhibitions.

It is a kind of story with which many women especially Indian women will relate to :) The arrange marriage saga is still seen in most of the Indian families. But through this story one can visualize and realize what all goes in a Girl's mind! All those confusions, insecurities and feeling that it is like playing a gamble.

The narration style and language is very simple yet interesting. It is a quick read.
Overall a nice book about a journey of a very important phase of a girl's life. Do check out the book to know whether Avni gets married to that guy or not. Whether she will be happy ever after or she continued to think that it was a compromise of her free life.
Great book for Girls! :)
