Know All About Kold Pure Press Oils!

Know All About Kold Pure Press Oils!

Hello Friends!

Hope everyone is doing great.
Eating healthy and clean is one of the most important part in attaining a good health and the oils we use, while cooking plays a very crucial role in it.
While we are talking about Oils, these are just not limited to edible oils, because some of the oils can do wonders to skin and the hairs, provided they are of good quality with no chemicals.

So, recently I have been using some of the oils from a brand' Kold Pure Press'.
Their oils are pure, organic and chemical free. They do not use high heat or pressure for extraction.

About the Brand: Kold Pure Press extract the oil from export grade seeds kernels using cold press method. In this no heat or pressure is applied and this helps in retaining its nutrients in its natural state. The cold pressed oils retains natural anti oxidants and nutrients that are otherwise lost due to high heat extraction. The brand is basically from Tamil Nadu, India
Here is the link to their website:

The three oils I am using from this brand are:
  • Coconut Oil
  • Castor Oil
  • Eucalyptus Oil

All of the oils are of such a high grade quality. You will feel while using them about how smooth they are. They are organic and pure. They do not have any artificial flavors and preservatives.

One thing to be kept in mind is that since these are chemical free and 100% cold pressed, these oils are made in small batches and hence they do have a smaller shelf life as compared to many other brand's oils available in the market. Coconut oil has a shelf life of 3 months only. Castor Oil has a shelf life of 6 months and Eucalyptus Oil has a shelf life of 12 months.

Also, compared to the quality I think the pricing is very reasonable and affordable. Prices are not obnoxious just because of 'All Organic' tag. Coconut oil retails for Rs 280/- for 250 ml, Castor oil for Rs 220/- for 250 ml and Eucalyptus for Rs 595 for 60 ml.

Another thing I highly appreciate about this brand, is their packaging. All the oils are packed in the glass bottles, so absolutely no plastic!!

I would highly recommend to try the oils from Kold Pure Press, they are definitely worth trying. I would be sharing all the buying links below. But first lets check out some of the uses\Benefits these three oils have.

Uses\ Benefits Of Coconut Oil:
  • Coconut oil is the most commonly used oil, no wonder it has never ending list of uses. It is a  great way to moisturize skin in winters and can be used as an alternative to body lotion.
  • Excellent for getting healthy hairs.Prevents hair fall and premature greying.
  • Works great as makeup remover.
  • Boosts Immunity
  • Rich in Lauric Acid, Vitamin E and MCT's
  • Energy booster
  • Helps in fat reduction
Uses\ Benefits Of Castor Oil:
  • If applied regularly, Castor oil helps to improve overall healthy of the hairs and make them super strong.
  • Great for Eyelashes and eye brows.
  • Aids in proper digestion
  • Works as a very good moisturizer for the skin since it provides the much needed hydration. It is often used in the cosmetics and skin care products.
  • It can be safely used by mixing it with Coconut oil, Almond oil, Olive oil etc.
  • It has anti inflammatory properties.
  • It has anti fungal properties
Uses\Benefits Of Eucalyptus Oil:
  • The most common use of Eucalyptus oil is using it as pain reliever.
  • It has anti fungal and anti bacterial properties, so it can be used to cure skin infections.
  • Can be used in aroma lamps since it has quite strong fragrance.
  • Helps in controlling blood pressure and sugar levels.
  • Helps in problems like Asthma and other respiratory issues.
  • Stress Reliever
  • Works great as a muscle relaxant.
So, friends those were just few of the uses of the above mentioned oils. Of course, there are many other benefits as well. Nothing is better than trying natural and organic things first, to cure or treat any of the problem.

Have you Tried Bamboo Tooth Brushes Yet?

Have you Tried Bamboo Tooth Brushes Yet?

Hi Friends,

Hope you all are doing great and enjoying life to the fullest!

Today I have a very interesting product to share with you all. It is one of the basic need in our daily routine. Today's product will take us a step closer to being more organic and non toxic!

Have you tried Bamboo Tooth brushes yet instead of our regular plastic tooth brushes?
I have been using them from few days now from a couple of brands and today I would be sharing one such brand, which manufactures Bamboo Tooth Brushes? It is ' Terra Brush'

Link to their website:

We all know how harmful plastic is for mother nature and it is always better to switch to something more organic and natural whenever possible. Bamboo is an excellent source for making toothbrushes since it is as strong as wood, even better I think! These are natural with no chemicals or plastic and naturally biodegradable.

Why Bamboo?
Amazing growth rate of Bamboo and its natural antibacterial ability makes it the world's most sustainable material.

Why Terrabrush?
These tooth brushes are made of 100% natural bamboo handle. These are free from any harmful paint and other chemicals such as BPA. Terrabrush are affordable and Eco friendly.

These Bamboo tooth brushes work as good as our traditional plastic tooth brushes.
I have two of them
  • Charcoal Bristled Bamboo Tooth Brush: This is priced at Rs 75/- Handle is made up of moso bamboo from China and the bristles are made of high grade nylon-4 bristles infused with charcoal.
  • White Bristled Bamboo Tooth Brush: This is also priced at Rs 75/- Handle is made of moso bamboo from China and the bristles are made of high grade soft nylon.

Bamboo tooth brushes are a great way to contribute to save mother nature as unlike the plastic brushes, these will not sit on the planet forever and will naturally decompose. Plastic, on the other hand is non biodegradable and release toxic chemicals as it decays.
Also, these are very comfortable to use and have a nice grip to hold.Bristles are also perfect, neither too soft nor too hard. Pricing is quite affordable.

Overall, I think it is a great initiative and I will encourage everyone to at least try it once!
These are availbe at Amazon. You can easily by from there. Also, they do have tooth brushes for kids!

Review Of Meera Herbal Hair Oil

Review Of Meera Herbal Hair Oil:

Hello Friends,

Hope everyone is doing great. I am back with an another review of a beauty product. The product I would be talking about today is a Hair care product from an Indian brand 'Meera'.

You guys might have spotted brand Meera's hair oil or shampoo at one or the other supermarkets. It is quite a regular brand in the Indian market now, which have herbal beauty care products.
Today's review product is Meera Herbal Hair Oil, which is primarily for controlling hair fall.

About the Product:
  • Meera is a brand manufactured by CavinKare
  • This oil contains 4 nourishing oils- Ylang Ylang oil, Rosemary oil, Coconut oil and Sesame oil.
  • Other Ingredients include Curry Leaves, Black Cumin, Brahmi, Bringharaja, Amla, Hibiscus & Henna.
  • This hair oil is mainly to control Hair Fall and promotes Hair Growth.
  • Manufactured in India
  • Retails for Rs 45/- for 75 ml.
  • Easily available
  • Affordable
My Review:

Oiling our hairs once a week is nothing new for an Indian women. We all girls have been doing this since we were small kids...Oiling our hairs regularly have always been a very important hair care step, in almost all Indian households. Regular hair oiling not only keep hairs nourished but also promotes hair growth. Also, I have noticed that if I keep following my once a week oiling routine, I need to use much less amount of conditioner after every hair wash.

I generally like to use Coconut oil or Amla oil for my regular oiling. Recently, I have been adding Rosemary essential oil, in my oil which helps to take care of my hair fall problem.
So, when I got a chance to try this one from Meera, I immediately checked the ingredients list and it does have all of my favorite hair ingredients, like Rosemary essential oil, Coconut oil, Curry leaves, Amla etc.

The smell of this hair oil is like a very regular herbal oil. The texture is neither too thick nor runny. It gets absorbed into hairs very easily and also gets washed away nicely during hair wash. Some of the herbal hair oils are too thick and also does not get clean easily after shampooing your hairs. This is something I really feel very annoying at times. But with this Meera oil, I did not face such problem. It is quite comfortable.

With all the nice ingredients, it will surely enhance overall health of your hairs not just control hair fall issue. Although the presence of Rosemary essential oil do help in somewhat controlling it. Having said that, to get the desired from any of the skin\hair care product, one needs to use it regularly and just not try couple of times.

Overall it is a great option for a regular use. I would highly recommend it. It is affordable and easily available. This should definitely be part of your regular beauty regime. It is a great hair care product.
Meera also have some other very interesting herbal hair care products like Shampoo, Hair wash, Coconut oil etc. You can try those as well!

In this price, these two are the best....You should definitely pick them for daily use.

One is Nivea Fruity Lip Care. This one retails for Rs 45/- for 10 grams. It has a very nice fruity strawberry kind of flavor. It is non tinted and little bit on the thick side...Gives perfect hydration to lips.
